Jesse Vierstra is an entrepreneur, investor, and strategic advisor based in Twin Falls, Idaho. Raised in a hardworking dairy family, he developed an early appreciation for discipline, ownership, and practical business operations—principles that continue to guide his approach to leadership and long-term value creation.
After attending the University of Idaho, Jesse founded Iron Oaks Custom Homes in 2018, growing the company into a respected residential construction business, having built, developed, or contributed to over $30M in residential real estate value. Over the years, he has built and operated businesses across construction, HVAC and mechanical services, real estate, and agricultural innovation, while also gaining experience in commercial real estate ownership, land development, and business acquisitions.
Today, Jesse is the Founder of Live Oak Capital, a private holding and investment platform focused on acquiring, operating, and advising practical businesses and real estate assets. His work centers around disciplined ownership, operational improvement, and long-term asset strategy.
Outside of business, Jesse is an avid golfer and skier, author of Under the Red Oak Tree, and founder of the Ryan Franklin Memorial Golf Tournament. Deeply rooted in faith, family, and community, he remains actively involved in charitable and volunteer efforts throughout the region.
